Kotter's 8-Step Change Model

This slide shows Kotter's 8-step change model as eight numbered, rounded bars that climb from left to right, with a rising arrow above them. The bars are grouped into three coloured phases: create a climate for change, involve the entire company, and implement and sustain change culture. Each step has its own label, from establish urgency to sustain change. A text block under the title introduces the model. It is used to explain change management, plan a transformation programme or train leaders on the stages of change. Step names, phase captions, intro text and colours can all be edited.
