This slide pairs four employee development phases with four matching coaching styles in two columns joined by arrows. The left column, Employee Phase, runs from Launch to Ramp, Proficiency and Mastery. The right column, Coaching Focus, runs from Direct to Guide, Facilitate and Empower. Each box has a heading and a short description. Use it in manager training, onboarding plans, leadership workshops and mentoring programs to show how coaching should change as an employee gains skill. The title, column headers, box text and colors can all be edited, and the rows can be reworded for other staged models.
